Bernie Sanders and Ted Cruz had a debate over the weekend on tax reform. Sanders argued in favor of increased taxes; having the government manage the money of its people. Cruz argued that lower taxes result in a stronger economy, which results in greater government revenue.
Bernie hit the issue dead wrong, and Cruz hit it half wrong. The issue is not which taxes would give the most revenue to the government, but which taxes would lead to the best country.
Senator John McCain was on The View and had a few choice words regarding President Donald Trump. McCain has an “R” next to his name, but hates Trump, so he’s held in great regard with the radical left.
