The reports that Syrian President Bashar al Assad used chemical weapons on his own people have their roots in an Oscar-winning propaganda group – the “white helmets”. The white helmets are supposedly a group of 3,000 volunteers rescuing civilians from rubble in war torn Syria. In reality, they are radical anti-Assad activists with ties to terrorist groups such as al Nusra and al Qaeda.
The evidence? Pictures of white helmet volunteers in terrorist garb, holding AK-47s, and praising allah; the unedited video footage of a staged “rescue”, complete with actors and sound effects; the leader of the white helmets being banned from entering the United States due to his ties to terrorist groups. These are not heroes. These are terrorists.
Logic would lead one to question the motive for Assad attacking a hospital filled with innocent civilians. For what purpose? To turn his own people against him? Keep in mind that in the middle of the civil war, Assad was reelected by an overwhelming majority, and polls show that the majority of Syrians support Assad over rebel groups.
After watching interviews with Assad (he speaks english, by the way), one cannot help but be tempted to question the main stream narrative.
