In an interview with Judge Jeanine Pirro on Fox News, set to air Saturday night, President Trump made remarks regarding the possible cancelation of the daily press briefings. Trump told Pirro,

“These press conferences are like the biggest thing on daytime television. Okay? You see the ratings. They’re blowing away everything on, just about, I think, everything on daytime television. What I’d love to do is stop them.

Prior to the airing of the interview, Sean Hannity took to his own program Friday evening to praise the President for thinking about ending the 100+ year old tradition of the briefings. Hannity brought Pirro onto his program Friday –

Hannity told his viewers his own proposal.

“I think every week the President should tweet out all of his accomplishments going back to day one, update people daily about what he’s doing and what he’s accomplishing.”

Even if President Trump’s administration becomes increasingly less transparent, it is okay with Hannity. No surprise there. He has been an ardent Trump supporter for a very long time. However, earlier in month his own motives were called into question by former Trump advisor Roger Stone.
