A suspected chemical attack in the rebel-held town of Idlib in Syria has killed dozens and injured many more. The fumes caused many people to choke, and pictures and video have emerged showing people limping, struggling to breathe, and even foaming at the mouth.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said a warplane released “toxic gas” in a residential area in the early hours Tuesday morning.
A report added that 11 children were among the dead and at least 160 were injured.
The attack is thought to be one of the worst since the war began six years ago.
Both Syrian and Russian governments are being blamed, both reject these claims.
